Have you found your true love? William Shakespeare’s worldwide know play Romeo and Juliet has influenced many people to create their own point of view of this play. Some have created movies, such as Gnomeo and Juliet an animated love story of two gnomes, Romeo and Juliet 1996, and Romeo and Juliet 2013. These movies have the plot in common, two households against each other and two star crossed lovers from each house hold falling in love. However, Letters to Juliet is based on the play, but it has many twists unlike other films. This essay is going to be about the differences and similarities between Romeo and Juliet 1968 and Letters to Juliet. Letters to Juliet and Romeo and Juliet share the same setting. Most of the scenes happen in Verona, Italy. But, because of the film year the movies have different screen qualities. Also, both of the films seem to have the balcony scene in their own unique and romantic way.
