Logic and emotion have existed since the beginning of intelligent life and are most likely to exist until the end of it. Some people may argue that a world run with only emotion and no logic would be better than a world run with only logic and no emotion however I feel that the opposite is true. Emotion's main purpose for humans is to tell humans what to feel when something happens to them and while the most beautiful moments in life are driven by emotions, the worst decisions a human can make during their time on earth are also caused by this same thing.

For example, if somebody wakes in the morning feeling angry they will make brass decisions based on that emotion for the rest of the day. The idea of a functioning government would be impossible because the political views of the officials in office would differ daily. Government officials would also make decisions that ruin some people's lives just because they are feeling a certain emotion that particular day. People say that emotions make us humans but that is not entirely correct. We need both logic and emotion in order to be human because without both of these traits we as a human race would not be able to function properly. We see this happen on a less extreme scale in the tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Throughout this story, Romeo and Juliet both make decisions based purely on emotion and this gives the reader an idea of just how devastating emotional decisions can be for a human. Some might argue that emotion is what we as humans should keep because without this we wouldn’t be able to feel anything. The fact is that without emotion humans would practically be robots working their day-to-day lives with no feeling for anything, no hopes, no aspirations, and most importantly no love for one another. This does sound bad at first but when you dive deeper into the details of this you realize that this is not as bad as it seems. First of all the human race would become a super society in a matter of years. No need for polluting the environment with cars when you can just walk for miles without feeling discomfort. No more world hunger because food would be spread equally throughout the world and eating would just be a mere chore to humans. For example with logistical thinking, if you are facing a problem in the office, to address that, you use the available facts and attempt to decipher the problem one step at a time. With emotional thinking the person would most likely get irritated and not try to think anything through, thus rendering the problem
