Romeo and Juliet
Shakespeare wrote what he wrote for a reason, he did was he did to make the story flow and to give it dimension, get our attentions. To all those readers out there who get caught up in anything that they read will know that Shakespeare wouldn’t portray Romeo as the most important character if he indeed wasn’t. From all the actions Romeo took throughout the story he had the greatest impact of the entire outcome of the drama. Juliet didn’t have the courage to do so, because she knew that it was against her father’s wishes, and for how much Lord Capulet had done for her, in terms of when she was going to get married, she didn’t want to do something she knew her father would disapprove of. Therefore making it very difficult for her to go up to Romeo and talk to him. Romeo and the other hand was for most of the party just an anonymous good looking boy who saw the most beautiful girl in the room, being the hormonal and love seeking boy he is, decided that he was going to try his best to win over Juliet’s heart, as well as other things.
The moment that Romeo grabbed Juliet’s hand changed the rest of the story, something that most readers can infer, because the first time that the two main characters meet is almost always significant. By Romeo acting upon his emotions toward Juliet he changed the rest of the story, by being the only one that was going to ignite the relationship.
