The Bible depicts many visitations of God to His people and to some special people. He intervened and visited His people through signs of His presence and action. He did that because He wanted to save His nation and prepare for the day of the Lord. At the last judgment, God Himself, in the person of Jesus will appear, and His grandeur will turn back at that time. The Gospel shows us that each of God’s visits expresses His compassion, mercy and love for people. Whoever welcomes and desires His salvation will receive it. As the Gospel of Luke describes:
