Comparing Words And In Aesop's 'Fable'

ⅠWhat I have learned this term :(Although I have divided these ideas into two parts , sometimes they can mix up with each other ! )

Reading : ⑴I have read many fables , which are so significant thar let me think a lot , a lesson , or sometimes a motto . That is , I am not merely a reader , more importantly , a thinker . I can read something educational from these fables . ⑵Most words have more than one meaning , and in Aesop's Fables , some meaning of a word I have never known . That's to say , to memorise a new word , for us English majors , we ought to make the new word related to it's special context , the whole passage , or a sentence can also do . eg :(At the beginning of an essay ) A plea thus questioned an ox … ⑶Emphasis

However , aren't we the same as the spendthrift ? And whatever proper attitude we should take ? One swallow does not make summer , personally thinking . In our daily life , we are not a loser just because of one failure , nor an outstanding man merely as a result of one success . Whichever we are , what we need do is go on . We ought to keep working if we have had a failure , and keep going advance with humility if we have had a success . Then , we can win the day constantly . Another example is China's economic development . As we all know , Shanghai is a high-profile city both in home and abroad , whose GDP is at the forefront in China , and in a way , we can say it's the richest area in mainland . However , we can't say China is a developed country , because in some regions , especially in western provinces , there are still many poor people , of which some have no access to literacy and still suffer hunger . In addiction , the events of old people's falling down , having been a high profile in recent years , can also be a demonstration . We all know that some old people have charged their benefactors after others gave a hand to them , making the kind later on dare not reach them at all when the older fall down upon ground . However , not all old people are ungrateful , and at the same time , there are still plentiful kind citizens to give a favor when it's necessary
