Recommended: Why Middle schoolers should have recess
Many students want to go home and please their parents with a good test score. It makes them feel accepted. To a child, their parents being proud of them is the best thing that they could receive. But in middle school, many students are failing those tests, getting bad grades. The only difference between elementary school and middle school is more individual topics and recess.
Elementary school was a place where I thought I could be me without any problems. Younger me was a bright, colorful and cheerful child. I enjoyed drawing, wearing vibrant colors, and making outfits for myself. But I also enjoyed singing so I joined the choir. That was my dream, to become a singer.
As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.
Honestly, this may surprise you, but honestly, I am sad to leave the middle school. I have had many good memories in my times at the middle school, but I have also had some not so good memories. Even though I dread coming to school everyday, the teachers, the staff members, and the students make it a lot better. The best memories I have had at the middle school deal with Cougar News, Yearbook, and Junior Honor Society.
Growing up as a middle child is not easy. If it was an option I think that no one should have to be the middle child, but it is something that I have learned to deal with throughout my 13 years of experience. Ever since I was a little kid I was never the favorite. The favorite child is always either the oldest because they are the parents first child or the youngest because they are the cutest, but this is often not the case for the middle child. I think this is unfair because the middle child could be both smart and cute, even though they are always looked past.
Moving from elementary school to middle school meant moving to the other side of the school with all of the high schoolers. I felt like I was becoming older, gaining more responsibilities. In middle school I was reunited with my friend, Coleton Reed. This time, he was in the same grade as me. My favorite part about being in middle school was being allowed to play sports for the school.
Have you ever been at Atkinson County High School/Middle School. Today i’m going to be talking about there alikes and differents about high school and middle school. They both are in the same school. High school is on one side middle school is on the other. The teachers are smartest ones.
I think coming to high school it was really different and scary. Coming to high school was a big change. Its way different from middle school, you have to take to your grades and work serious or else you won’t pass. If you don’t try and fail then that’s misleading you from graduating. You have to try your best and work hard if you want to make it out of high school in 4 years or earlier.
No one can honestly say that they enjoyed middle school. I know that I can’t. Unfortunately, as young teenagers, we are impressionable, and whatever habits and traits that we pick up in middle school can alter the course of our lives. Look at me, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis the summer before eighth grade and now my life has been changed forever. If I’m being completely honest, middle school helped me become the person I am today.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
Everything that is fair is not always equal. Like when someone uses an older brother and he gets more things than someone else, he might know that it is fair but someone else knows that it is not equal. Or when some get more attention then because someone else is younger than him, still it is fair for them but not equal. Or when some get more attention then because someone else is younger than him, still it is fair for them but not equal.
Why the school system is bad - Arshia Education is very important for everyone and it will only get more important. Schooling is just plain bad. It used to serve a purpose, like the heart in a person 's body, but now it is basically just boring students more and more. Nowadays at the end of the day, we all just want to go home.
2. Explain the characteristics of the different types of schools in relation to education stage(s) and school governance. There is a huge variety of different school types to be found in the education sector; they can be state schools, independent schools or private schools. The Majority of the state schools are what’s known as comprehensive. This means they take both sexes and children of all academic abilities.
Kindergarten to 8th grade I attended a private school called Holy Family Catholic School. The school was very small along with classes, teachers extremely strict and hallways always quiet, the totally opposite from Dr. Henry A. Wise. My first day of high school I was very nervous I was not used to big classes, endless amount of students in the halls and the loud ruckus. This was an educational challenge for me because it was a totally different learning environment for me that i had to get used to quickly. My studying habits also challenged me through high school because test and quizzes were given out frequently and if you didn't know how to study you probably wouldn’t get a good grade.
I had many fun experiences in 8th grade. Although I am very excited to move on to highschool, I will miss 8th grade as well. I learned many things in 8th grade. I learned a lot about U.S. history and I found physics very interesting. Algebra and Spanish, the two high school classes that I took this year were quite challenging but very rewarding.
