In Act II, scene iii of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Friar Lawrence uses language to describe the conflicts and benefits in the world. He starts off by mentioning the morning which represents the good. He then goes on to talk about the night and darkness to represent the evil.
