Confucian philosophy is built on the relationships between people in society and the government as well as, having strong moral character. Confucian philosophy had an effect on China and the Asian society as a whole, socially and politically. Everything that Confucius believed had to do with relationships and the way in which people interact. He believed in hierarchical relationships that are based on age, gender, and status. Confucius is the founder of Confucianism. Confucianism is a way of life, a set of ethical, moral, and social standards in which to live. Strong men and right-minded healthy men have to help look out for them. The document justifies the "proper relationship" between husband and wife. With all these new interactions, the followers of Confucius would be able to tell people about it and it would keep spreading throughout the areas that the followers can travel to with the trade routes. This major concept of his followers telling new people about confusion is called cultural diffusion. Confucinsm had trouble spreading into India because of the access to water and the trade routes did not all make it to India so it was hard to spread it. Interaction with one another is so important and one of the main purposes of Confucianism. As evidenced in document one, if you as a person have full trust in the leadership and fulfilling your role and doing that to the best of your ability just like everyone else has a role to fulfill. Confucianism has not only affected China and Asia socially but also politically. Everyone has a role and it is their job to fulfill that role and do it as well as they can. Let the ruler be the ruler, you have your own rule and what you have to do, let the subject be the subject. Showing importance in your role is very important and can make or break the society. Document one suggests that the society will fall apart and not run successfully if the subjects don't fulfill their role. Subjects must support the ruler by fulfilling roles and trusting, and the government must provide protection, infrastructure and resources for people. Document Fours map suggests that the influence of Confucianism in Asia was widely spread throughout it. It spread through most of China and showed how much of it had been controlled over the Han Dynasty. It most likely had a bigger influence than normal because it exists within a lot of different capitals. This could mean that because it was in a place that had power, it could be easily spread out to other places.
