Once upon a time there lived two families, the Capulets and Montagues. They lived in a beautiful coral reef, deep below the ocean. The families did not like each other and they argued every day. Their feuding caused the coral reef to be split into two sides, one for each family. The Capulets and Montagues were never nice to each other and as they fought and fought, the once happy coral reef became sad and broken.
One morning, in the center of the coral reef in between the Capulets and Montagues sides, a Capulet Crab and a Montague Sea Horse began an argument. “You swam into me!” the Crab shrieked. “Oh Romeo, I love you so much, but why do you have to be a Montague? My family will never approve. Maybe somehow we can be together because I love you more than anything I have ever loved before.” Juliet did not know that Romeo had snuck back to come see her, and had heard everything Juliet had said. “ Even though I am a Montague, I love you with all my heart and that will never change.” Romeo said, surprising Juliet. “I love you more than a clownfish loves its anemone. We should get married.” Juliet suggested. “ I love you more than a pilot fish loves cleaning sharks teeth, so we will get married. I will meet you tomorrow, and we will go to my friend Lawrence, so he can marry us. I have to leave, but I will miss you every second that I am gone.” Said Romeo. “ I will miss you even more. Goodbye, Romeo.” Juliet answered. Juliet then went back to her room to tell her friend Althea all about Romeo.
The next day Romeo went straight to visit his friend Lawrence. Romeo told Lawrence how much he loved Juliet, and how he wanted him to marry them. “Are you crazy? You only just met Juliet, isn’t it too soon?” Lawrence mentioned.
