Can it be possible that in an infinite number of galaxies and planets our planet is the only one with any kind of living civilizations? This is a question that we have been asking ourselves for many years, but there is never any sort of evidence that proves a hundred percent whether this is true or not. While this mystery remains unsolved, a lot of conspiracy theories come up to people’s minds based in some mysteries that science cannot quite explain. There are a lot of people out there who strongly believe that Mayans were once visited by non-human creatures strange to the Earth. First of all, all of the Mayan gods have a shape of something that makes no sense to us. For example Kukulkan is a winged serpent, and for most of us that sounds completely senseless, and that and Bolon-Yokte The monuments and drawings of these non-sense creatures that Mayans called “gods” can be found in every temple in ancient Mayan cities. In the article “La Caida de los Mayas,” Edson Gamboa speaks out for all the people that share this ideology; the author wonders how come the Mayans could come up with these gods that have shape of creatures that have never been seen in this planet by anyone. He also points out that to believe in something in the way Mayans believed in their gods you have to have seen it before, so if the Mayans let these beliefs rule their whole civilization and even built entire temples in order to honor their gods, they had to have had any kind of contact with them or something paranormal had to have happend because we could say that Mayans lived only to honor their gods. According to scholars, Mayans believed that stars moved in repeating patterns called “Calendar Cycles” and those cycles could be used to predict future events. There’s one phenomenon that occurs in the center of the Milky Way galaxy where there are no stars. There is a black hole that Mayans called “The Great Width”, and they believed it was the birth canal of the universe; the place where all the things come from. On December 21st of 2012 this birth canal of the universe, the Earth and the sun were in perfect alignment, and it only happens every 26 thousand years. The mystery with this, is that Mayan Calendar ends exactly on this date when the sun, the Earth, and the Birth canal of the universe find the perfect alignment (Barnhart).
