The issue that is being debated is whether or not violent video games can cause people to do hateful things. Whether you agree or disagree with this statement, most people agree that violent video games shouldn’t be played as a young kid. Most violent video games are rated “M”which stands for maturity or “A” which stands for adult, these games are not meant for young kids. Often parents will still buy the video game for them thinking it’s ok, when really these games can be too graphic and might give the kid the wrong idea. As a young kid you’re suppose to build relationships and learn to communicate with others with video games you learn none of that. Another detail is that “youngsters who develop a gaming habit can become slightly more aggressive — as measured by clashes with peers, for instance at least over a period of a year or two.” A lot of aggression comes from video games, this shows that they are definitely not safe for younger kids. Aggression and violence seems to be the common denominator, so it’s a major issue in video games. Makes you wonder how many kids play these games and should they really be allowed to play? Some say that it’s normal to get anger sometimes, yes that’s true but since kids play games everyday for a long period of time it’s becoming more natural to them. Sometimes young kids can bond over these games, but chances are one kid will overreacted and make an enjoyable afternoon become a nightmare. If the kid grows up as a sore loser, in the future they will get themselves in so much trouble. If kids stop playing violent video games they can control their anger more,not be tempted to do bad things,and they may be even more likely to learn that losing is ok and you won't always win.Playing a video game and losing is normal, but for people who constantly play the violent games winning becomes a priority. This is not a great thing when you are an adult in a work environment.Not everything in life is a situation where you have to win. Kids shouldn't be getting angry over losing a violent video game and if they are, this just proves the fact that violent video games is something the world should put more thought and focus
