However, not knowing what you want to do and not succeeding at it would make the college tuition not worth the money. College is very important because of the life experiences and financial gain you will have. College is worth the expense of tuition because you learn about life. Such as the personal responsibility of being on your own, having the motivation to get up in the morning to go to class, cleaning up after yourself, and all of the friends and connections that you will make and have in the future.
College is an experience and achievement beneficial to anyone who attends, and graduates college. The prestige of the school doesn’t necessarily matter for someone receiving their degree. Attending a community college, compared to a university, can provide the same higher-level education but the tuition costs can either discourage a student from attending college or it can entice a student to work harder to attend college. This is what can determine a college education’s worth to an individual; it’s all about the work ethic and drive to receive an education that makes it worth the price.
Thousands of dollars are wasted each year and most college graduates are unemployed or underemployed. Colleges create a tremendous amount of debt, therefore a college degree is not worth it. College is not worth the struggle because, loans do not get any smaller, many students do not even graduate and vocational school is always left out of the picture. Student loans will not get smaller, in fact student loans are growing and this debt causes students to continue to live with their parents. This debt overwhelms students, causing huge amounts of stress and many students can not handle it.
You may think completely opposite and think that college is not worth the cost. You may also think that too many people are attending college due to an increased dropout rate(Rose and Vedder). As students strive to get accepted into college, many forget the purpose of college or are just unsuccessful and cannot graduate and earn a degree. As college prices continue to skyrocket many people see the ticketed price of a school and immediately turn it down. In reality, the astronomical prices are not the true prices that students will actually be paying.
At (blog.uncollege.org) it says, “The cost of college has skyrocketed in recent years. Attending a decently ranked university can easily cost upwards of $100,000.” Some People thought of not spending money on college but to go skip and go straight forward into life. But what I’ve seen in the success of college, are things that you earn and get rewarded for and you live life way easier. There is more to it than just getting a great job and getting more money after you graduate from college.
For many people, college is an important key for their future. Some people go to college for the job opportunities and the new windows it can open. Others go just for the education and experience. A good education is beneficial from many different viewpoints; in truth, it is a possibility that one's adult life could be much harder than people care to think. One can have better wealth, is less likely to be unemployed, and a much higher chance of being closer to your family.
As long as I can remember, I knew that college was going to be part of my future. That is because I always knew what my family expected out of me. College is not only important to me for the reason of making my parents proud, but for making sure that I create more out of myself, as well. With a higher education, I will have more job opportunities available, potentially be able to earn higher income, and obtain more useful life skills than somebody who does not have a college education. To begin, having a college education under my belt is important to me because I will have more opportunities for a job, after I complete my four years.
Going to college in order to get a career ,and ultimately live a financially stable life has always been my goal. My goal seems small, but it means everything to me and it is really just a small step into my lifetime goal of having a career and making a good financial living. In order to reach my goal I work hard academically, and participate in extra-curricular activities in and out of school. One area that has really helped me in my ability to reach my goal would be academics. Throughout high school , I have taken difficult courses not only to learn as much as I can, but also to challenge myself.
I believe going into college will help me be successful and to find out who I really am. To me, success means being proud of who I am. I grew up in family with no background of education is really though. I am a son and the first generation going into college and that will be what make me proud.
Is The Cost of University to Excessive? College and universities are the final steps in someone’s educational journey. To go away to college is the dream, the American dream. College is where students find their future, to work for a degree, and to find out what they want to be, but at what cost?
Education can go on for years, even if 13 years or more wasn’t enough for anyones education. If high school wasn’t enough then college is a great place to advance your knowledge. Attending college for myself is because of the opportunities of having unlimited jobs, a higher salary, and valuable work skills in the future. As a college student I would want to strive for success, but success can be found anywhere, although for me college is where I begin to seek success. Motivation can affect your outcomes in the future and by experiencing the motivation within yourself gives is a big thank you to your achievements.
Moreover, it is also very difficult to get a full academic scholarship to a college, not to mention top colleges such as Harvard, Stanford and even Princeton. In all fairness, is college really worth the trouble or is it just a way to drain people both financially, physically and mentally? Presumably, college is a big deal to people especially parents. College gives advantages to a person’s life such as getting payed more or getting a better job than others, but what others didn’t mention is that various have to pay off student debt for, well, most of their lives because of the
College personally has more benefits that outweigh its disadvantages and thus the reason that I will push my fears and concerns aside and continue on to achieving my
College to some people is that start of their lives and getting away from home and learning on their own, whereas to others it is just a pit stop. For some people it is where they meet their true love and their happily ever after. Not only do they find a spouse and someone to have forever they also start the journey of their life. Their career will hopefully grow, and get a job to help pay off the debt that the students owe from going to college and starting their life. Overtime colleges have continuously gotten more and more expensive.
A college education is very important for me to obtain the career I want. College will provide me the knowledge and practice I need to be successful. Going to college will help me get accustomed to the pressure of the real world and will give me the opportunity to become independent. Graduating college is my number one goal in life. It would be an awarding payoff for all the hard work and dedication to my studies throughout high school.
