Going to college in order to get a career ,and ultimately live a financially stable life has always been my goal. My goal seems small, but it means everything to me and it is really just a small step into my lifetime goal of having a career and making a good financial living. In order to reach my goal I work hard academically, and participate in extra-curricular activities in and out of school.

One area that has really helped me in my ability to reach my goal would be academics. Throughout high school , I have taken difficult courses not only to learn as much as I can, but also to challenge myself. I'm currently enrolled in several AP courses. My participation in a choral ensemble for nearly five years has thought me, life lessons in hard work, self-discipline, and teamwork. I have participated in UIL on several occasions with the school choral ensemble, and I know that leadership and collaboration each of those times lead us to success. I'm also a part of the Hays High School Leo Club, an organization that has volunteer over a thousand hours and donated over a thousand dollars to local and national charities. Leo Club has been a great opportunity for me, because it has given me community service hours. But the reason I joined Leo Club was to help the community in any way that I could by participating in community service events. My participation in College Forward, an organization that provides help to high school students that want to attend college. This organization is ultimately helping me the most into reaching my goal of attending college. College Forward has helped me into narrowing my college options, serving the community, preparing for SAT/ACT tests, and it will continue to help to reach my goal of attending
