Non-verbal communication is when you use gestures, facial expressions, and body movements. Non-verbal and verbal communications are similar and different in many ways. Non-verbal communication is different from verbal communication because non-verbal communication use bodily gestures and facial expressions, and verbal communication doesn't have to. Another thing that makes verbal and nonverbal communication different is that people who are having face-to-face conversations present verbal communication. Non-verbal communication is also different from verbal communication because non-verbal connection doesn't have to use their voice, but verbal communication has to. But Verbal communication and non-verbal communication also have a lot of things in common. For example, non-verbal and verbal communication both reveal emotions and thoughts.
