Does the office space affect the employee’s performance productivity? Yes it does, managers do not pay attention to this point though it affects a lot of things like lighting, dim lights can make it harder to see and fluorescent lights can cause headaches to some people. In general brighter lights can make it easier for employees to read and to focus more and bright lights creates a good mood. In addition, temperature if it is too hot or too cold employees will not work as hard because they are not feeling good in this atmosphere they have to make the office suitable for everyone. Also, something you never thought could affect the performance of employees is the office furniture; of course employees sit for hours on their chairs and desks so these chairs have to be extra comfortable or else it may cause some health issues to some employees which is a negative sign. In Conclusion, there are many methods of creating a positive work environment many leaders don’t realize that the environment, the boss, communication and other factors are the main factors that result in either an excellent work performance or a really bad performance. Great managers know exactly how to bring out the very best of their employees by understanding what do they do best and what is their weaknesses. The employees come first even before customers the manager has to keep the employees comfortable and happy so they perform their best and work hard in a very positive environment which results in always keeping the customers coming back It’s all in the managers and the employee’s hands to maintain a good positive happy and successful work
