Both creationists and evolutionist can account that every character of an organism is affected by all genes and every gene affects all characters of an organism. In fact, Leviticus 19:19 states that “God has commanded that ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.” Scientifically, a mutation is defined as a damage to a single DNA unit (a gene).
