ID suggested that everything was created by a designer, rather than was gone through evolution. Some parents and teachers favored ID to be taught along with biology; meanwhile others were against ID. Maybe not literally, but by its explanation adding ID to a biology curriculum meant teaching creationism along with scientific evolution.
In the article "EVOLUTION: A CATHOLIC PERSPECTIVE", James B. Stenson had written, "A Catholic should suspect, therefore, even before studying the question closely, that faith and scientific knowledge must complement, not contradict, each other" (EWTN). This can be interpreted as another way of saying that science and faith work together and not against what each other is teaching. Evolution does not contradict what the church teaches and is excepted by many Catholic leaders of the faith. This fact can be proven through what evolution is, what the church teaches, and common misconceptions. Before evolution can be critiqued within its aspects of Catholicism, it must be understood.

Intelligent design and Macroevolution are two different theories that explain how life came to be. Lots of people have different beliefs whether it is a supernatural beginning or even just evolution. With science, its main job is to prove or give insight about the beginning of life creation. Even in today's time people are still trying to find evidence to support those claims. To discuss those claims I will be using two methods, Intelligent design and macroevolution theory.
I think that the video, “How Evolution Works, Part 2” presented the case it was trying to make the best. I think that people cannot accept the theory of evolution if they only understand the contents of the Bible in a literal sense. I cannot accept much of the scientific knowledge currently in common use, not just evolution, but also when the earth was created. I think we can make a judgment that evolution and creationism are compatible by recognizing scientific facts and by how flexible the Bible is. Someone can ask if dinosaurs should come to the Bible if God made them.
Furthermore, the Mormon & Catholic Church are great examples to demonstrate how both can coexist. Very well-known Mormon scientist Henry Eyring never opposed any of the two views but rather saw how they both needed each other. By stating, “Science tries to pursue and find the truth in all its forms and the LDS church is ultimately interested in the truth”. Pope Pius XII said that Catholic Church teachings on creation could coexist with evolutionary theory (Humani Generis). With this being said, evolution ultimately answers the how and religion asks why?
Natural Selection or Intelligent Design An evolutionist believes that all life that do not adapt to their environment will not live. They believe that changes in a species genetic make-up through mutation allow physical characteristics to manifest. These mutations allow the species to better survive the environment and reproduce therefore passing on the better genes to the follow on generations, and as this development occurs over many generations the species evolves. I believe that everything that on the earth today was created by an intelligent being because evolution is just a theory, evolution is no longer happening, and it is unscientific based on the scientific method.
