Natural Selection or Intelligent Design
An evolutionist believes that all life that do not adapt to their environment will not live. They believe that changes in a species genetic make-up through mutation allow physical characteristics to manifest. These mutations allow the species to better survive the environment and reproduce therefore passing on the better genes to the follow on generations, and as this development occurs over many generations the species evolves. A creationist has two different viewpoints on how the world was created. Scientific creationists hold the theory that a god or intelligent creator made all life that exists on the planet, these creationist do not take the book of Genesis in the bible to be a literal way that life was created. Evolution and Creationism, one uses science while the other uses belief to determine where humanity originated from; scientific evidence supports evolution while faith is the main component for creationist.
Creationism is more than a defense of the biblical version of how the earth was made. It tries to come up with theories for the beginning of our universe and on how life came to exist. Creationist’s scientists come up with theories that use the bible as truths that God has given to man to explain the origins of life. This theory actually predates evolution by more than fifty years.
