The short documentary, Evolution’s Achilles Heel many talked from a creationist point of view in which they mainly disprove the evolutionists ideas of how the world came to be. Evolution the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth. Evolution is also called Darwinism, because it was thought up by, Charles Darwin. Evolution is caused by mutations in the genes, which allows new species to be formed. But creationist don’t believe that.
The Nye/Ham second debate relates to the previous discussion in class about Creationism because of the beliefs discussed in the power point that relate closely to Ken Ham’s views in the debate. Creationism is a belief under the religion of Christianity that humans, animals and earth were created by God. Christians get this evidence from the chapter of Genesis in the Bible. Ken Ham, a born again Christian, created a creationist museum shaped as Noah’ Ark for Christians/ Creationist all over the world to view realistic figures and facts covered by the Bible.
There are many views on how the earth has come about and ended up how it is now. Two of the main ones are Creation and Evolution. Creationism is the belief of what the Bible says. It says that God created everything in 6 days, then taking the one day to rest. Evolution is the belief that things evolved from things.
Overall, Creationism sounds like a children’s story while Evolution is very detailed, informative, and educational. Creationism confuses students and lures them away from their educational thinking process. In many circumstances, Creationism has refuted scientific theories and has unraveled the lot that science, in most schools has taught us about human derivation. Evolution and Creation are two of the most common theories of human origin, although numerous religious people believe in Creation, the bible’s timeline does not match up
It may be common knowledge to know that Creationism was a principle theory in the realm of science during this time period. Creationism was taught in our schools and institutions, but during this age that mentality took a pivotal shift. Creationism, which is believe in a supernatural creator came under threat by rising, new theories. Theories such as Darwinism began there moment of birth during this time period. It would be by the writing’s of Charles Darwin that society would come to know of Darwinism.

"Can Creationism/Intelligent Design coexist as a rational philosophy with evolution?” I believe that Intelligent Design can coexist as a rational philosophy with evolution however Creationism cannot. Creationism supports the theory of Intelligent Design but Intelligent Design does not necessarily support Creationism. I was shocked to read in our text that ID regards intelligence as something natural rather than supernatural. This is tragic.
Scientific creationists hold the theory that a god or intelligent creator made all life that exists on the planet, these creationist do not take the book of Genesis in the bible to be a literal way that life was created. Evolution and Creationism, one uses science while the other uses belief to determine where humanity originated from; scientific evidence supports evolution while faith is the main component for creationist. Creationism is more than a defense of the biblical version of how the earth was made. It tries to come up with theories for the beginning of our universe and on how life came to exist. Creationism can also be translated into “creation myth” in which followers bring in skepticism to scientific theories as to how the earth came to be. Although opinions of creationism may vary, there is a unity of thought that God created the universe. Creation science is significantly centered on the Book of Genesis, which describes how God created the world through his powers. It is claimed to be a pseudoscience that attempts to place biblical events into science.
A dream is a reflection of hopes and possibilities but without inspiration, motivation and encouragement it leads to an unfilled passion. What one hopes to become is built on the foundation of the upbringing and lifestyle because inspiration comes from within and from the surrounding. Creationists believe the earth was created by an intelligent being, God, over 6,000 years ago. Science found its origin in Europe by men who believed in the universe being designed in an orderly fashion and created by God. Scientists such as Galileo, Newton, Bacon and Kepler believed in a recently created earth. For science now to deny the creationist's point of view is to deny scientific history. Since no one witnessed the creation (except God), scientists' study of the formation of the universe are based on assumptions and theories.

Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. Religion is the belief in worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. All 4 of these are slightly in common because they are all beliefs based off of theories and ideas.
The debate between creationists and evolutionists has raged on for decades with both sides claiming to have the support of a plethora of scientific evidence. Both parties seek to express the solution to the age old questions of the origin of universe and the origin of life. Proponents of creation and intelligent design have been around for centuries. "The idea that nature shows signs of having been designed by an intelligent being dates back to at least Ancient Greece" ("Intelligent Design", 2017). Meanwhile, evolutionists have existed since the release of Darwin's On the Origin of Species in 1859 (Nye, 2014, p.4).
Scientists across various fields of studies with excellent academic achievements voice their unwavering belief in the theory of creation, and they depict multiple experiments and studies to solidify the validity of creationism. There is a big argument among the world discussing the issue of evolution verses creation. The evolutionists believe that everything has evolved from similar ancestors, and over time they changed into the different species we have today. Creationists believe that everything that is on the earth was put here by a higher being that put all of the complexity and variation of the animals that are here today. I believe that everything that on the earth today was created by an intelligent being because evolution is just a theory, evolution is no longer happening, and it is unscientific based on the scientific method.
