Intelligent Design on Trial

The Intelligent design proponents’ arguments are full of scientific fallacies- such as the idea that nothing can explain creation but God. Genuine science accepts new ideas, even if they conflict with prior theories- it does not stand stubbornly with its claim, refusing to accept an alternative. Intelligent design finds its origins in the bible- a book which Christians say to be written towards the beginning of time. 400 years ago, any woman with red hair, green eyes, or a wild personality was burned at the stake for being a witch. First of all, Intelligent Design supporters will say “This doesn’t happen just by random. Clearly some Intelligent Designer is responsible for this.” Who said evolution was random? Evolution is all about careful calculation- it’s about organisms adapting to their surroundings. The evidence of Evolution does not lean toward randomness but towards function. If Evolution is random, why don’t some species gone backwards while others go fowards?
Occam’s razor tells us that the theory that causes the least amount of further questions if often the correct one. Evolution answers so many more scientific questions than the theory of Intelligent Design. It’s also worth noting that most scientific discoveries don’t acknowledge the existence of a supernatural being.
There is no strong evidence of Intelligent Design being a true science in the NOVA documentary; it’s mainly empty rhetoric. There are also literally no methods of observation. Observation that would prove the existence of Intelligent Design wouldn't really even be possible. If it did happen, who could prove
