“Mapleshade!” Emeraldpaw yowled in excitement. “Hey, Mapleshade!” Silence, Emeraldpaw looked around the pine forest where she always met Mapleshade to battle train. Where is she? Emeraldpaw sniffed the air, it had been three moons since Emeraldpaw had fought the Giant Cat and she and Sandpaw were going to be warriors soon. Emeraldpaw, Sandpaw, and Sandpaw’s brothers; Leappaw and Bumblepaw, had their assessments today and Emeraldpaw couldn’t wait. So much had happened in the past three moons, her and Sandpaw fought in a battle against BloodClan for stealing prey, and had both been to two more gatherings. She looked around, a meadow stretched before her, going out as far as the eye can see, it was treeless and there was nothing but grass, no flowers or rocks could be seen. “Hello?” she called out, and this time a cat answered. “Hello?” But the voice sounded like hers. Shaking her head she tried to walk forward, but her paws wouldn’t move, she tried again and was unsuccessful.
