Organized crime is involved in illicit activities in order to have a way of income to live. The way that it is structured is just like a normal business is structured. There are people working for higher status people and make sure to maintain this going as ordered. It could include bribery and violence if things do not go as demanded internally and externally. An organized crime could include from fraud, kidnapping to theft and any kind of illegal act. They are plenty, dangerous and hard to track down. (Danis, Module 1, Slide 1)

The quote, “continuing criminal activity in concert” (Cressey, 1969), basically means that a member of a gang will open a restaurant or anything that sells legal products to the society, to hide the big amount of money, and still perform the illegal activity at the same time. Each individual in the gang will act independently not to show any sings of cliché acts. (Danis, Module 1, Slide 21). This type of organized crime is followed by the law rules in order to be secure from the law, as if there is no dirty money being made. The public will not do anything after they identify this certain place is owned by a gang member for their safety and therefore it is profitable regardless. Nobody can do anything about it without risking owns life due to the status they have in that gang. Since Hells Angels has been around for so long shows that they either cannot be tracked down or maybe the gang is bribing someone in the police department or even higher in the government. It is a shame that this still happens in this time of year and it is being spread around even more recently, especially in Montreal. It is harmful for the economy and also harmful to the public physically, such as the Rizzuto family incident a few years back when he got shot. These gangs can be very dangerous to even one another not only the public. Therefore, it would be a great shame that my restaurant on St Lawrence, that was once doing so well, to see it close down without being able to do anything about it after lowering prices of food and
