Our criminal justice system is a very important system that helps America run. There are three important core components to our criminal justice system, police, correction agencies, and criminal courts. These three categories make our well-known justice system run. All three categories main priorities are protecting rights, keeping the public safe, and serving justice to everyone.
The police force plays a key role in our criminal justice system. As law enforcers, police officers have a very unique and sometimes dangerous job. Jails and prisons main responsibilities are to carry out sentences and to help criminals back into society. Correction facilities are to provide safe supervision and custody for inmates. Jails and prisons are second chances for criminals and help serve justice to their crimes. Corrections facilities are to respect every right of the convicted, and make sure they are taken care of. Another important category in our criminal justice system is our criminal courts. Criminal courts help justify criminals and are a key role in our criminal justice system. Our court systems are responsible for many tasks and are really useful for serving justice to anyone. Our courts determine the outcome of criminal cases and justify guilt or innocence. They also give sentences to people that have committed crimes to they can rehabilitate and server the time for their crimes. Courts are supposed to protect rights and freedoms to anyone facing the justice system conduct fair trials to the suspects. Individual rights are something every American has. We all deserve our rights and freedoms and no one’s rights should ever be violated. Individual rights is the perspective of the individual and are set in place to protect the individual of wrongful doings by the public.
