There are specific items listed on the negotiation checklist that I feel are valuable and fundamental for negotiations strategies. These include your overall goal, issues, and best alternative. Everything can be negotiated and is fair game, no friend, they are your enemy. During negotiations all parties must have understanding of what the end goal results are and the current issues at hand. In some negotiation cases the end goal cannot be achieved and an alternative goal is likely more promising. Items that could overcome specific concerns are gloating, assuming cross-cultural negotiations are just like local negotiations, and the most common concern is failing to pay attention to your opponent.
