1. We believe that Isfahan is a cosmopolis which can turn its native features into the ‘universal ones’ due to its rich past and identity, that is, offering new and, at the same time, deep-rooted suggestions for today's world.

Given this and based on the concept of ‘creative city’, we have tried to realize the components of a ‘cultural city’ as before for the city, its citizens and its guests, in the field of urban management, in accordance with the ecosystem conditions of Isfahan. The goal of urban management is to bring Isfahan to the position of an important ‘cultural city’ in the world structure. Therefore, we strive to provide indicators of ‘cultural citizenship’ in the city context. Thus, the Isfahan urban management approach is to facilitate human communication based on identity and indigenous components. We have also made both sustainable development, and protecting Isfahan's ecosystem at the forefront of our work. That is why answering the cultural needs of the present community, while preserving the identity of the city is so important to us.
We believe that the placement of Isfahan to a ‘cultural city’ position and the strengthening of ‘cultural citizenship’ mean observing the ‘cultural rights’ of our citizens. In other words, this can be the basis for the formation of ‘cultural creativity’ in the old city of Isfahan, much more than what we know in the history of this city, and of course are proud of it.

We speak of cultural rights and we know that the foundation of this concept is the development of justice-centered services in the city and we have to fairly provide a platform for social, cultural, and intellectual development of the citizens.
