I saw in movies daddy-daughter dances and it quickly became a strong desire of mine to attend a dance with my father. I went to my manager at Donatos and requested the day off work a month in advance, to ensure my availability. My mind even created imaginary scenarios of young girls in princess dresses with their father’s waltzing around the floor. A couple weeks prior, I found myself tearing my closet apart in attempt to find the perfect attire.
