Mrs. Van Bliven wanted to make it look like someone broke in and stole her necklace. What actually happened was that Mrs. Van Bliven made it look like the room had been broken into.

Her parents actually still live in Africa where the still continue to work for the lord just now retired, so they truly live there out of the love they have for the Lord. Mary grew up as a white American child living in South Africa where being white was a minority, but since it is the biggest city in South Africa it tended to be more diverse than other regions. Surprisingly, she said she has not received any racism in the African culture because her family is very well respected there.

Attributed to the fictional Dutch historian character, Diedrich Knickerbocker, are two of Irving’s most popular stories, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle. Rip Van Winkle is the story of a Dutch villager, living at the foot of the Catskill mountains before and after the American Revolutionary War. Van Winkle is genuinely loved by the people of his village, especially by the children whom he tells ghost stories to, plays with, and gives toys. However, this simple, easy-going man has one great error in his character: he is incredibly lazy, despising work in all forms.

Harry Potter has changed many lives and is one of the best series to this day. Her books affect her readers, but also has changed her life in very good ways.
