Daniel H. Pink was born in 1964 and was raised in the small town of Bexley, Ohio. He graduated from Northwestern University with a BA, and he later received a JD from Yale Law School. Pink, deciding not to practice law, worked in different political and governmental positions, including serving as an aide to the Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, and being chief speechwriter for Vice President AL Gore from 1995 to 1997.
However, in 1997, he decided to resign his job and work on his own. From then on, he has had a career with great notoriety.
