Daniel is another character in the book that plays a big part.
Despite the danger, Daniel remains determined to survive, stating, “I am not going to die. I am going to live.” His unwavering commitment to persevering through the challenges ahead. Another instance of Daniel’s strength is when he is separated from his family and taken to a concentration camp. Despite the horrific conditions and constant danger, Daniel refuses to give up hope, declaring, “I will survive this place.
In the book Daniel 's Story there was only one event that occurred throughout the entire book and it was the Holocaust. In the book it talked about how Daniel 's family went through the Holocaust as Jews. As Daniels riding on the train to a place where he will stay for a long time, he looks at his photo album (his uncle gave him a camera so he could take pictures but only when they were important) and sees that all the memories in the picture and tells what happened that day he took the picture. Every time he gets on a new train it talks about what happened at that concentration camp or wherever he was at. Until at the end he is talking to the cook about what he is doing at that precise time.
Due to this, Daniel had to learn that one had to make sacrifices to stay alive while dealing with having not only his identity, but also his freedom stolen from him. Daniel’s identity was taken away from him when everyone found out he was a half Jew. The propaganda of belittling the Jews was heard so often that when Daniel had found
The book begins with a glimpse into David’s last encounter with his mother before he is taken into protective custody. While jumping out of his mother’s car as she dropped him off at school, his mother instructed David to lie about the origins of the bruises and scars that were scattered about his body due to his mother’s vicious beatings and punishments. The harsh disciplinary measures which his mother imposed on him led David to become the outcast of his school. His hygiene was less than minimal, and his clothes were ragged and filthy. These characteristics of David stood out to his school’s nurse, who had begun keeping track of David’s bruises and scars.
John is the main character and the protagonist of the story “By the Waters of Babylon’’. He’s also the son of the tribal priest. He is a character who displays bravery and determination in his personality. The reason why I chose the words bravery and determination to describe John is because he was brave enough to travel to the Place of Gods even though he was warned that it was forbidden to journey towards there. He assumed that he would have gotten killed if he trespassed the place of the gods but he went and took that risk anyways.
The name, “Daniel”, is a masculine name that originated in the Hebrew culture. The meaning of the name is “God is my judge” which fits Daniel because he is a Jew who is fighting to stay alive during World War II. He has a strong belief in Judaism and believes that God will help him through the Holocaust. Evidence: “ “
Daniel knew the heart of the Lord from the Scriptures and stood up and prayed for his nation and people. It 's not God 's will to send the disaster and to destroy His people, but through all these tribulations He wanted His people to turn from their sins and seek God 's favor and His truth. We
After proving himself a worthy servant to the king through his helpfulness and insight, Daniel is still not spared from the king’s overbearing power. In chapter six, after Darius took over Babylon and Daniel was granted a very high position in the kingdom for being a faithful distinguished citizen with no faults or errors, the other high officials were jealous of him and plotted to attack him in the only manner available. This ambush on Daniel was to convince King Darius to sign an injunction that stated “...that whoever makes petition to any god or man for thirty days, except to you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions” (Dan. 6.7), but this adversity did not withhold Daniel from his dedication to his faith because that was the type of integrity and excellent character that he was blessed with. When Darius was brought forth by Daniel for his failure to obey the injunction, Darius realized what he had done and tried everything he could to save Daniel, but the document was signed and could not be changed and the high officials ensured that his punishment was enforced. After Daniel was sealed away in the lions' den, Darius hastily returned to it that morning and asked if God was the one to deliver him from the lions, and Daniel responded to him saying “My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”

Old Testaments in the bible shows dislike for the Danites, whom they called serpents. Nevertheless, they adopted Daniel and transformed him into a Hebrew prophet. Historians say that Daniel is not a personal name but more like a title. His “powers” were like the Goddess Dana and her scared serpents in Egyptian history. Daniel of the Bible is related to Dana Goddess of the Celtic Europe.
Washington Rules emphasizes that the United States should order world politics. The world must be ordered by the United States and cannot be permitted to order itself. As a result of Washington rules, the United States has a duty and moral obligation to be the world’s policeman to the point where other nations just naturally expect us to act. The Washington Rules project of US foreign policy has managed to sustain and regenerate itself since the end of World War Two. However, we often forget that by following Washington rules, we do not follow limits and extend our power.
