An 18 year old man named Otto Kraler had a Journal. In this journal it contained his Journey through the Holocaust. Many of his family members are gone and him and his little sister are left. He is running from the SS officers trying to look for his twin sister. This is a story written by him called “I Wish”
Day 12: I am sitting in a tree with my sister, I needed to take a break from the running. It’s been a pretty tough day. I keep thinking of the time me and my family use to hang out in these woods, it’s sad that most of them are gone. My Father and Mother have passed away, I saw them die. They were wonderful… except before the holocaust I never really hung out with them. I was always with my friends rather than them. Now thinking of it I should have kept them closer. There gone now and I can’t do anything really to go back.

He was a smart man, and funny. My mother was beautiful with big green eyes and long dark brown hair. She stayed at home and tried to make clothes for the family. We really weren’t rich, so we bought curtains from a lady down the block to make clothes out of. We could never go to the boutiques around the village because the clothes there were too much.
Aviva, my little sister is sitting with me. She is really tall for a 13 year old, 5,8 maybe 9. She stands out because of her height, but is very quite and never says anything about it. She never really talks to me, I never really talk to her. This Holocaust stuff is actually bringing us together. She talks to me more often, mostly about stuff she wished she would have done. I always tell her that there really is nothing we can do about it. I am a very straightforward person and I don’t really show emotion. When my parents died, yes, I was shocked, but I showed no
