What is happiness? what might make a person ecstatic? No two could ever define happiness similarly; however, happiness is like an endless path in life, that all must pursue. Each person draws their own portrait of their own idea of happiness from their own distinctive eye. We find happiness in buying a new outfit; we find it in a promotion; we find it in a degree, and we find it in a marriage rather than eventually finding that our happiness is eluding us. True happiness does not come strolling into your life when you possess material goods, on the other hand, it is the bright stars that you see at the far opposite end of your telescope. Finally, I realized that you, as well as many others have smiled, laughed, also felt happy at least few times in your life. However, you will never realize that you think about it or pay attention to it, however when you remember it you must attach it to your memory. So why will we sometimes laugh our hearts out but yet feel like we are far away from the happiness we are looking for? or feel as hollow as a cave and lonely? Well, the reason is that there are two types of happiness: fake happiness and true happiness. So what is the difference between these two? Well, phony happiness is when it is all about pursuing pleasure for a limited time. For example, a reckless action with friends might be joyful but then after the fun, joy and happiness is gone; the hollowness haunts the heart and the soul urges to move on to. Therefore, most people would act reckless even after growing up. On the contrary, true happiness is one that comes with patience and understanding of the self, and even though it takes time to reach it, it stays for a longer period; it is basically eternal happiness. This is because with true happiness comes along the acceptance of oneself, the approval of own soul and the understanding of the surrounding. Nevertheless, smiling and laughing does not always mean that one have found the beat of a dancing
