When the term hero comes up a lot of people think about fictional characters with supernatural powers. However, American Society doesn’t have to look hard to notice heroes both from the past and present day. We are surrounded by heroes and their works have surrounded our culture and lifestyle. I know growing up I liked comic books my heroes were superheroes such as superman, batman and my dad. As we grow up our view of a hero changes. Like a single parent who don’t eat or buy themselves clothes in order to provide for their child, could be considered heroes at least to their children.
