They have faced many situations in life, but there exist young people who have been through their fair share of hardships which turned their innocent skin into strong armor. In Night, a memoir by Elie Wiese, Eliezer is taken to a concentration camp at an early age for the majority of his youth. In this camp, he was forced to mature fast and faced many hardships that shaped and molded his identity to make him the person he grew up to be. Certain events affect a person's well-being and level of thinking in either a positive or negative way.
