Definition essay Most people think of family as blood family members living together or extended family and relatives. Merriam Webster dictionary defines Family as a noun; it is a group of people who are related to each other, a person’s child: a group of related people including people who lived in the past. Though that is the Merriam Webster’s definition of family, it is not that only one. Family is not just blood relatives, family is choosing, supporting, and loving regardless of relation. Therefore, even though many people normally think of family as the blood relatives, however family really means people that are actively involved in another’s life by choosing to love unconditionally, and being supportive, celebrating each other’s accomplishments, and enjoying experiences together. Family are people who consistently active in each other’s lives, choosing to love each other. 135,000 children get adopted the United States of America every year.
