Goals are the things that lead people to greatness. Every person who has risen to power has done so by having small goals along the way to reach the end goal. Some goals are immense in size, such as aspiring to be president, whereas others are easier to obtain, such as a managerial position in a large company. Every person has specific goals, and it's all about whether or not they take the proper steps to reach them. Every person has goals, and with the help of others, most realistic goals can be met.

Life choices are all a part of a winding road that takes a person to their chosen career path. One life choice could be attending college, whereas another might be becoming a carpenter right out of high school. In the grand scheme of things, it is important that people find what makes them happy and then they follow their dreams, turn their dreams into goals, and their goals into reality. Although I am not a firm believer in this, I can see the merit in choosing a goal that has these attributes. Being specific makes it easier for a person to follow a path that leads them directly to what they want to do, not just to the broad area of the subject their goal belongs to. Picking a measurable goal helps insure people are always moving closer to their goals because it is possible to track. Picking an attainable goal is great because it allows a person to choose a goal that is equivalent to their skill level. A realistic goal is necessary because there are certain goals the majority of people will never be able to reach. I believe that anything is possible, but I do not believe everything is likely. A timely goal means that a person can complete the goal in a set amount of time. This can vary from a week to 10 years. All of these things factor into allowing people to obtain their goals and
