Final Reflection

Throughout this course I was able to learn many things in which in most parts I either didn’t have any knowledge or very few understanding of the topics. I’m positive that what I learned in this class will help me in achieving further academic goals, work-related situations, and life goals.
One of our biggest goals we set when entering college are our academic goals we set for each other. It’s important to know when setting your academic goals to make sure their realistic and achievable. You don’t want to set goals that are either too hard to achieve or sound unrealistic. When setting goals, you want to make sure their S.M.A.R.T goals and what that means is that their specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. Some examples of some goals you can maybe set or think about are “I want to get an B in my Chemistry class” or “I want to end my college semester with an overall GPA of a 3.0”. I believe it’s important that when we do set goals that they are clear and specific. Something you wouldn’t want to say would be like, “I want to make good grades,” or “I want to learn as much as I possibly can” because both those statements are just not specific enough. Its’s probably very important to know that your goal is most likely realistic on the chance that you genuinely trust that it can be accomplished. You know what they say successful people have goals. Setting life goals is different for everybody since everybody want to achieve different things. Some life goals can be graduating high school, getting an associate’s degree, or maybe even buying a house. It all depends on how old you are. I know that with the information I learned in class I’ve set my own life goals that include graduating college with an Associate’s Degree in automotive technology and maybe later on actually owning my own garage to work on
