Happiness is the state of being content. It’s one of the many emotions a person will feel throughout their life. They always say if you’re not happy what is the point? A person’s happiness occurs by different external situations but also internally. Happiness occurs through wealth, love, freedom, achievement, and food to lead a fulfilling life. It is never at a constant rate, adversity will happen frequently.
Wealth and riches can help create a great life but it doesn’t specifically mean it makes you happy. Money can bring security, safety, and better nutrition. Security can be from alarm systems around the house to being a part of a gated community. Being wealthy has an advantage to bring happiness to someone’s life. In secure neighborhoods, families don’t have to worry about shootings and robberies as much as poor, unsecure neighborhoods do. A child will be raised with more confidence and have more capabilities to be more successful. Freedom is the ability to act, say, or believe whatever one wants. Back in the early 90’s, African Americans were discriminated and faced inequality. To fulfill a life with happiness they fought for the same rights as any other citizen of America. Freedom of Speech gives you a voice to project against or for certain values. The United States doesn’t function correctly without the majority say of the citizens. Communist countries are directed by the government so the people have no control which will cause stress and unhappiness. When kids go off to college they have the freedom to be independent from their parents and to make choices by their own decisions. They will have to stop relying on their parents and support themselves. To fulfill a decent life in the future, they will have to learn how to support themselves and their own
