Mike Rose disagrees with the assumption that “Intelligence is closely associated with formal education” (Mike, 247). Formal education does not always measure the level of intelligence of a person. Education as something people can gain not only in school, but every day of their lives. We should be learning from our experiences, and apply this knowledge to our everyday lives. Wisdom should not be looked at as just
The light represents the hope that they will be together
“A deep sense of love and belonging is an irreducible need of all people. We are biologically, cognitively, physically, and spiritually wired to love, to be loved, and to belong. When those needs are not met, we don 't function as we were meant to. We break. We fall apart.
All around the world people beat themselves up over trying to find love to have these fantasy and unrealistic relationships in books, movies, and even social media, nowadays you see it everywhere. This is not the only way to find a trusting, dedicated, and committed relationship with another person. Thomas Oppong's article “Good Social Relationships Are The Most Consistent Predictor of a Happy Life” states that for people who want to experience happiness in their life, it's important to not “forget to connect and build better relationships with people” (Oppong). By doing this, connections around us can be a lot more positive and make our relationships better. These meaningful relationships can come from family, friendship, and even pets.
There are over ten billion people on earth and every single one of those people are different in their own ways. Their religion, family and even personality. But is there one thing that can bring them all together, to just stop and stare? In The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, she proves that there is something that can do that, the sunset.
And hopefully one day “we as people will all eventually get to the promised land” and our desires will one day be fulfilled, because when staying together you can achieve
I personally think that being intellectual is more important than knowing how to do stuff, because just because you know how to do something, doesn't mean that you are gonna grow up and do exactly that. The things that you would know what to do, would be things thought up by intellectual people and intellectual minds. Without intellectual people, this world would be absolutely nowhere. Knowing how to do stuff might get you through college, but what about after college? To pass school, you have to know things.
Have you ever looked at your life and thought that maybe if you were smarter or wiser, maybe it could have gone another way? Have you ever wished that you could have natural intelligence that, like other people, could help you through your life? If you could have an operation that could make you smarter, would you do it? Many people think that having intelligence or being a genius is the most important thing to have in life, as if knowledge and wisdom are the only things that can get us anywhere in this world. But, as illustrated in the story Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, it’s the people around us who help us get through our everyday lives because of the happiness and even hurt that they may give us.
Human brain is a powerful weapon, sometimes against
In addition to this, at the beginning, they think that they know what love means; they have the hope to find the definition of love and, in the middle of the story they begin to lose in the subject so their hope to find the definition of love also becomes vanishing.” The light was draining out of the room, going back through the window where it had come from. Yet nobody made a move to get up from the table to turn on the overhead light” (Carver 183). This highlights that towards the end of the story, they do not know what they talk about, interested in coming up with a definition or they do not even move from where they sit so, their hope to find the definition of love is completely gone. As it is shown above, Raymond Carver by using the sunlight as a symbol illustrates the difficulty of love in the
In life, people want to have that someone they can call the “sun to the their moon,” or the “night to their day,” wishing for an undying love. William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet deals with the recurring visual motif of light and dark, that is used to represent and foreshadow their love. Both of the lovers compare one another to the day and night, which highlights the intensity of their relationship, but also expresses the downfalls and unforeseen complications to come. For Romeo, Juliet is his sun. His light.

What is Love? If you were to search it up you get the vague definition which reads: an intense feeling of deep affection. But it’s so much more, it has so many different meanings to people. Even wrong meanings that people associate it with. Love comes in many different forms, such as: friendship, family, and partnership.
Love: An endless supply of happiness and dopamine I’ll never forget the time I met my girlfriend. I was at my best friend’s birthday party, when a tall beautiful girl with wavy brown hair and the clearest complexion, her face full of happiness and joy. The moment I saw her, was the moment I knew that I had powerful feelings for her. It was amazing actually…feelings began to swell in brain, lust, compassion, affection, adoration, racing through my mind. That would be the day that I would began to fall for Alex.
