Most Americans struggle when they are asked to define privacy. Privacy, as a definition, is the state of being alone, or the right to keep one’s personal matters and relationships secret.
In other words, privacy is being free from public attention. Not everyone these days have that much privacy because the technology and social media they are using right now. Privacy is important because it keeps us safe. Today the technology that we use is not the same as it used to be. It’s no secret that technology is becoming more integrated into our professional lives. Now since everyone have a phone or a computer they can look up anyone they want on the internet. People have to be careful what the share on the social network since anyone can get in touch with anyone they want. Some people get their password stolen since they do not use a strong password.
