The constitutional convention took place in Philadelphia 1787. Delegates from twelve of thirteen states showed up the Convention to revise the Articles of Confederation and write what is now the Constitution.

As part of human nature, we’re accustomed to following a set of rules to have an orderly and peaceful lifestyle. Usually, if those rules are disobeyed, destruction and disorder are bound to come our way. This act is prevalent in two stories, Beowulf and The Lord of the Flies, that were written centuries apart, but yet the concept of how ignoring rules can lead to the downfall of societies is common in both. Usually, a well-built society derives from a strong leader who has the characteristics of guiding people to do the right actions. Such an example would be Beowulf who is viewed as a God-like hero and is highly respected.

A perfect example of absolute tyranny would be the Nazis. Their cruel and oppressive behavior towards the Jews and those who didn’t fit into their mold of the “perfect human” ended up as a mass genocide that cost the lives of millions. According to the famous document, the English colonists’ wrote a set of “Facts” (266) to be submitted to the world, showing the human race the repeated offenses the English government had shown to the colonists’. King George III and Parliament made life exceedingly trying for them. In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson wrote numerous ways to government had usurped their rights as citizens.

The pigs abuse their power by changing the commandments, living in luxury, and by treating the animals poorly.
