Freedom is the power that allows people to self-determine his or her ideas, it allows people to have the right to act, speak or think without being restraint. The reality of freedom is how individuals see their freedom; for instance, Dr. King got locked in jail for describing his freedom, but others define his freedom differently. Individuals choices, how they want to establish their freedom. One’s person freedom could be someone’s prison. Although people defined that freedom is having unrestricted rights, but limitation create true freedom since it spreads equality to everyone.
Freedom is the ability to do whatever one wants without restraint. Many people in our country take freedom for granted, while many suffer from the lack of freedom in other countries. Freedom is when you choose all of your actions, which is what was meant for everyone. Making choices of your own is how you learn and grow. When you are in a position without freedom, somebody withholds it.
Freedom is the ability to make a choice without hindrance or interference from others, as well as restrictions to create equal rights and protect the citizens. Equality is a sameness between citizens, that no one is treated different than another, as well as access to the same opportunities, programs, and services as any
Many people initially define freedom as not being forced to do something. The longing to do things our way is part of our human nature. But Nelson Mandela once said: “...to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that… enhances the freedom of others.” As an American I may enjoy the freedom and safety that was endowed upon me as well as use it to assist others.
What does it mean to be free? Freedom is the the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Freedom is what our country stands for. Our country wouldn’t be so great without our great troops, who fight for OUR freedom everyday.
Freedom is a hard thing to create a single unison answer for because it changes for everyone. For some people it may mean the right to believe in any religion; for another person, it may mean the right to speak their mind [as a woman]. It is always changing and developing, however, America has been known for their freedom that is granted to its citizens through three important doctrines: The Declaration of Independence, The United States Constitution, and The Bill of Rights. The oldest doctrine that first spoke of freedom to US citizens is The Declaration of Independence of 1776.
Freedom is the capacity to take decisions without facing coercion. The main problem that society faces today derives from the two main interpretations of this definition. The liberals consider freedom should not have limits. Everything should be allowed, even if it is harmful for somebody else. The authoritarians, on the other side, suggest that restrictions should be imposed upon freedom.

What Freedom Means to Me To live a free life is to live a life unchained. Every day, I am given countless opportunities and courage from America’s liberty. This is what freedom means to me. One of America’s greatest attributes is the innumerable amount of possibilities that are handed to its citizens with no cost.
Freedom is not the absence of commitments, but the ability to choose what is best for you. For each person the word freedom has a different meaning, for some it is to be able to do what they want, for others it is to follow the laws, for others it is to study what they want and for others it is to be happy in any way. Normally, freedom defines who is not a slave, subject, or prevented from the desire of others in a coercive way.
What is freedom? Is it an absolute right or is it something we can live without it? People born to be free. Throughout history freedom defined differently according to different cultures and different period of time. Freedom shows an alteration cultures to culture.
Freedom is the basic right of every individual and freedom of thinking, which is known as free thought or freethinking is the basic component of freedom without which the definition and meaning of freedom is incomplete. Freedom allows a person fully to do every right, legal and justice actions in the society or world with prior conditions that the Freedom of others are not violated in any sense. Because Freedom means Freedom for all not for a single person. And the harm to the freedom of others may not happen which is itself the part of the definition of Freedom.
