In dictionaries, a journey is often described as an act of traveling from one place to another, but to a traveler, a journey has a deeper meaning. A single journey can make one’s mind more open to challenges and opportunities in life. Not only it causes the person to have a bigger perspective, but it helps the person to become who they really are by understanding their true identity. First of all, staying in one place makes me feel like I am cooped up and for some individuals, it even makes them go insane. We humans are not designed to stay in a particular place and do unchallenging chores, we, the most intelligent species, are capable of learning and apprehending about the outside world. No matter how bad it is, a journey will never fail to brighten your day and put a smile on your face. You will completely forget about your annoying colleagues, grumpy boss, or even your ex that broke with you through texts because you will be thinking about the breathtaking scenery you are seeing with your own eyes. The beauty of Mother Nature will calm you down. During this time you get to reflect on your personal problems and how to act on them. Sometimes a gorgeous landscape is all you need to get rid of all the disturbing feelings. At the end of the trip, you will realize what it is that you really want. In addition, you will be more grateful for your home while you were away.
