Webster’s definition for Love: “A feeling of strong or constant affection for a person” I think love is such a beautiful, meaningful word. There are so many meanings for the word ‘love’, people give it different meanings. The way I see love is how my parents came to be a couple. I enjoy listening to how they met.
When I see my parents, it’s like when their eyes meet they are falling in love again. They show so much support and love towards each other, it makes me hope that I have what they do some day.
My dad always starts the story by saying that the first time he laid eyes on her, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he ever saw.
The love story of parents went something like this (told in my dad’s perspective): I remember when I saw your mom. It was in our 7th grade year, and of course like the young boy I was, I had a friend ask her to be my girlfriend for me because I was too nervous. Sadly, she said no because she thought we didn’t know each other that well. I understood that every well because the only reason why I knew her was that we had classes together. The next year in 8th grade, I asked her to be my girlfriend again, but this time with a better knowledge about her. This time she said yes because she said that she thought I was a great guy.
