Persephone the goddess of the underworld, in my eyes is one of the most memorable love interest in a piece of fiction. Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, and was kidnapped by Hades (Zeus and Demeter’s brother) Zeus was in on the kidnapping and even helped Hades decide when to do it.
