SETPA is the biggest known public transportation here in Philadelphia. It has many different transportation services. SEPTA has trolley lines, bus routes, regional rails, and subway lines. One negative about SEPTA is the level of sanitation. There is very little sanitation. First, the trolley’s and busses that people get on are not clean all the time. If there were trash cans available at either front or back doors of the trolley that could minimize the trash consumption on the trolleys and busses. Second, the underground stations. The majority of the time SEPTA underground stations smell like pee. People have to be cautious walking down there because people never know if they’re going to step in someone’s bodily fluids. SEPTA could install hand sanitizers stations for people to use to try and cut back on some germs. They could also start cleaning up their underground stations at their least busy times or on least busy days. Its great Philadelphia have a large public transportation system but they could work on their sanitation problems. …show more content…

SEPTA could be either early, late or on time. If SEPTA drivers are early they don’t wait for any riders. For example if it’s a bus that may only run every thirty minutes then people have to wait another minutes for another bus to come possibly making them late to where they need to be. If SEPTA is on time that is a great thing but that may happen once in a blue moon. Most of the time SEPTA is late. This is a problem when so many people rely on SEPTA here in Philadelphia. There could be a way SEPTA could fix this problem. They could install a tracking system within their public transportation services. Making it accessible online people could check their mobile devices whether their line of transportation came, went or is on their way to their stop. This could make it easier for the rider and the
