Tom Sawyer and Huck sneak out and go to the graveyard. Joe and Muff are there helping the doctor rob the graveyard. Joe and Muff try to get more money out of the doctor and he got really upset and Joe and the doctor get into a fight and when they are both on the ground joe grabs Muffs knife and kills the doctor. Joe frames Muff for the murder of the doctor and the cops take Muff to jail. Tom and Huck said that they would not tell anyone but they should because they can get Joe in trouble and also if Tom and Huck does not tell the sheriff what they seen they could get in trouble, also the cops are going to hang Muff for no reason, and there is a murder on the streets and he could hurt someone else and Tucks nightmares will go away. Although he could try to do something to Tom and Huck they could tell the cops and they could get Joe and then he could not hurt them and Tom could stop having his …show more content…

Muff did not do anything so he should not be the one getting hung and he should not be punished for nothing because he did nothing. Also if Tom and Huck do not tell the cops what they seen they could get in trouble as well because they knew about it and they did not say anything to the cops. Although they would be breaking a promise it would be better to break a promise then go to jail because they did not tell anyone they knew about the murder.
