My essay is about a seven year old me, bringing a cat in the house. In the middle of the night, it slipped out of the box and ran through the house. It scared my mom so much that she screamed like she was on a roller-coaster. My dad ran after it and later half of the house was a mess.
That day marked an event that had one of the most interesting events that have ever happened to me. Every time our family has a conversation, we always have to mention that day. It all started on a sunny afternoon in Niksic, 2007. Since the school was about to finish, my face had a huge grin on it. The thoughts of finishing school with all A’s came to my head. This was like a movie. There was no way a kitten could ever like me. Then the kitten, laid down on my hand and made wiggling moves like she liked me. This was enough to prove me wrong. There was no other choice. I moved my hand. Then realized that how light it was. The kitten was so small it could fit in the palm of my hand. The fluffiness of its fur, made it feel like I’m holding something so fragile that I felt that it could barely hold itself. The way it looked at me made my hearth melt. It made me sorry for it being here.
“I’m gonna get you somewhere safer,” my gentle voice told it.
As I moved along with the kitten in my hands, the fear of the trees chasing me was gone. My head was filled with thoughts about myself saving this little kitten. I didn’t want to lose it. As I ran, the sweat and tiredness were bothering me, but the thoughts of losing the cat were enough as a motivation. My imagination came into play again. There were pictures of me throwing a frisbee and the kitten hoping for it.
