I lugged the last bags upstairs. Three flights of stairs. Stair after stair, it felt as if I was walking into hell. I basically was. A new hell of a new town, new place, new house. As I reached the last floor I threw my bags on to the hard wooden floor. Clomp. The whole third floor was mine. It was large and open. I was given my own bathroom. It was all out of guilt. "Come here Danni." He put his arms out and I let myself be held by the one person I knew who cared at all. He was quite a bit taller than me. About a foot. We sat and talked for a bit.
