A shooting star. A perfectly divine glow to the night sky. A scintillating light that shows more than one passage beyond the sky... Forlorn and hopeless, in the village of Supai, stood the defeatist Aegra Unfortunaque. Each and every day, she meandered through the swamps into the forest, pausing from time to time to look at her feet which were blistered and swollen. The swamps were wretched, lifeless, and dismal, but they were the only sources of water she had and no matter how miserable the swamps were or how much she dreaded the things that could happen to her, she dipped in for the sake of keeping her body at peace. With no food, no people, and no water for miles, a desperate sadness enveloped her. Yet, she had nothing but mere faith that one day, one day perhaps she may be given the gift of hope. At once, Aegra stepped back in fear. Slowly, a ball of light was forming in between her palms as she began to break the bond formed by her hands. The bright, shining white light only grew bigger as it came to a stop. There it was in her right hand a glowing ball of light. Then, she blew softly and a chain of light flew out into the sky rapidly mirroring what Aegra had seen earlier, and there she stood awestruck at what she had witnessed. It was that light that woke up her hope for a brighter future. “This is a shooting star, the light of hope,” said Asteria, “I look for people who blocked themselves from seeing the beauty in life. I want everyone to be able to feel the way I feel everyday, joyful. When someone is doubtful, I feel the need to reach out and spread hope.
