Holiday Heist Twas a cold winter morning in the city of Paso Robles California. The sky was gray but the streets shined with color and christmas decorations. People were walking around and shopping for the holidays. The smell of food from shops filled the air, there was nothing but Holiday cheer all around. Me and a team of 5 other people were loading our stuff into out van. Manny was the driver, I was his ‘co-pilot’ telling him where to go. The other 4 were Andres, Demi, and Carlos. The most wanted heist group in America. We were hired to take down some cargo trucks and grab an item from it. We were going to get paid half a million for this. We parked nearby and got our equipment ready. We put on our masks and i put on a leather jacket mostly because it was freezing cold not really to look cool even though I did. Before iwe got off i told manny to stay and keep that engine roaring for quick get away. I also told everyone one else no casualties the tools only to intimidate nothing more. We kicked the van’s back door open with force almost breaking it. My group pulled up to the block pointed to the sky and made their things ro grrra-ta-ta-ta. People started to run and all you heard we’re blood curdling screams. While I headed to the truck with my teammate Andres the rest of the group coverde us. We got to the trucks and got what we were looking for. It was a long metal rod hidden in a crate. We didn 't know what it was for but our boss wanted it so we got it. We planted a bomb in the truck. We ran out of it and both trucks blew up. The sky filled with smoke people around the scene started to cough and nothing but fire was left in the area of the trucks. Andres got a door from the truck to protect himself from the fire and smoke. I got the metal rod and swiftly lifted it up in the air with pride to show the rest of the team we had gotten it. The that moment sirens were started to be heard. They got louder and louder as they neared. We quickly got in the van and told manny to floor
